Three floors of glass, a hilltop site, and a client who wanted the house to feel like a private resort.
We designed a whole-home Lutron Triathlon system with 38 motorized shades, including blackout in bedrooms and dual roller shades in the great room. Four scenes — Morning, Entertaining, Cinema, Goodnight — programmed against an astronomical timeclock.
The shades follow the sun without ever blocking the ocean view at exactly the wrong moment.
We wake up every morning to the shades silently opening to the ocean view. It still feels like magic.
